I am a teacher, trauma-informed therapist, writer, storyteller and creator of the Flávia Esper Method of Integrated Therapies. I am passionate about art, animals, travel, people and stories. I am also a person who sought self-knowledge from an early age, to deal with the effects of abuse, trauma, abandonment, chronic pain and illness.

Throughout my career, I completed several training courses and ended up creating my own approach to work, combining different knowledge with my experience. What has always united everything I've done is the love of stories and the recognition of the healing power they have, both the ones we hear and our own stories. It is what holds the key to what we want in life. I also realized that our story is not always the one we tell repeatedly and that it is often necessary to give up what we think about ourselves and our journey to, like curious explorers in search of treasure, seek our true history and identity.

Currently, I help people see who they really are, know and make peace with their true story and free themselves from what stops them from being. Through writing, therapeutic sessions and groups, courses and mentoring for other therapists, I have followed, in recent decades, the transformation of several clients and students into freer, more self-aware people capable of taking ownership of themselves, realizing their potential and assume conscious authorship of their own stories.
